RENTIERA is the middleman between guests, investors and hotel owners. We charge a fee on each transaction, and in return we take responsibility for holding the money, keeping the records and solving the problems this business will have.
Four layers of protection
Escrow
Investor money goes to RENTIERA escrow first. The hotel receives its advance only after the contract is funded, minus commission and reserve.
Hotel reserve
Part of every advance is held back until settlement. It backs any contractual minimum and covers unremitted payments.
Permanent records
Every round, message, payment, payout and revenue entry is logged and cannot be edited by anyone.
Verified people
Investors pass identity verification and hotels are verified partners before any deal can close.
Covered by RENTIERA
- Money paid into RENTIERA escrow for a contract made in the Deal Room
- Guest booking payments made through RENTIERA checkout or the official RENTIERA QR code
- Hotel advances released by RENTIERA from escrow
- Payments a hotel failed to send — RENTIERA follows up and settles them under the contract, using the reserve where the contract allows
- Refunds for cancelled or failed transactions, under the booking or contract terms
Not covered
- Negotiations, side agreements or promises made by phone, chat app, email or in person
- Money sent directly between an investor, a guest and a hotel instead of through RENTIERA
- Payments to any QR code, bank account or person other than RENTIERA's official channels
- Earnings lower than hoped because of real occupancy — revenue can vary
When something goes wrong
Step 1
Report it
Open the deal or booking and contact RENTIERA Support. Everything is already on record.
Step 2
We review
Staff check the contract, the escrow ledger, revenue logs and the Deal Room history.
Step 3
Funds stay safe
Money in escrow or reserve is held while the case is reviewed.
Step 4
We settle
RENTIERA refunds or pays out under the contract terms and records the result.
Why we insist on "inside the system only"
We can only protect what we can see. Inside RENTIERA, every peso and every promise has a record, and we hold the money until the contract is met. Outside RENTIERA, there is no escrow, no reserve and no record, so if a payment goes missing there is nothing we can recover or refund.
To keep both sides covered, the Deal Room blocks phone numbers, emails, outside links and chat-app names, and every investor and hotel agrees to these rules before their first deal. Contracts include a "Platform protection and off-platform dealings" clause.
RENTIERA does not promise investment returns. Contractual minimums are backed by the hotel's reserve. Refunds and dispute outcomes follow the booking or contract terms. These protections are subject to legal review. See the Terms of Service.
